an image that exceeds the brightness level of

IRE (Institute of Radio Engineers) is a measure
of the video signal level that is used as the bases
of brightness; the reference level (pedestal
level) is set to 0 (%) and the maximum level
(completely white level) is set to 100 (%).
Notes
With a subject that exceeds a brightness level of
100 IRE, the image may become overexposed.
Peaking
You can display an image on the screen
with its outlines enhanced with colors. This
function helps you to adjust the focus. The
enhanced outlines will not be recorded on
the image.
Off
Does not display the enhanced outlines.
(White)
Displays the enhanced outlines in white.
(Red)
Displays the enhanced outlines in red.
(Yellow)
Displays the enhanced outlines in yellow.
Notes
The enhanced outlines may not appear in a
dark location.
Light Bright
You can set the brightness of the video
light.
Standard
Standard brightness.
Bright
Select this mode when you find the video
light is not bright enough.
Audio Level Display
You can select whether or not to display the
audio level meter.
On
Displays the audio level meter.
Off
Does not display the audio level meter.
