Step 3: Installing an NSM Server
The “xxxxxxxx” in “Disc/NSM/doc/Cert/Sony-NSM-
xxxxxxxx.p12” is a number that varies for each
instance of Network System Manager.
Logging in
You log in to Network System Manager from a web
browser.

Launch a browser.

Enter the URL (https://{host name}) for Network
System Manager in the address field, and press the
Enter key.
The login screen appears.

Enter the following user ID and password (default
account), and press the login button.
User ID: admin
Password: nxladmin1
The startup screen in Network System Manager
appears.
Always change the password of the default account

• You can register the URL as a browser bookmark for
convenience.
• Placing a check mark in the [Remember the credentials
to skip the login.] checkbox will automatically log in
when you enter the URL subsequently.
Checking the version information
You can check the version information for Network
System Manager.

Click the [Help] button, and select [About Network
System Manager].
The [About Network System Manager] dialog
appears.

Check that there is no discrepancy in version labeled
on the installation disc.
Activating a Network System

A license key must be obtained and activated in order to
use Network System Manager.
