SPEAKERS L/R terminals
Connect the speaker connector
of the speaker unit to this
terminal.

Be sure to use only the supplied
speaker.
•

When connecting speaker cord,
insert the connector straight into
the terminal.
•

Make sure that the connector of the
right speaker is properly connected
to the SPEAKERS R terminal, and
the connector of the left speaker
is properly connected to the
SPEAKERS L terminal.
To disconnect the speaker
cord
While pushing down the lock
lever, pull out the connector from
the terminal. Do not pull the wire
without pushing down the lock
lever. Doing so may cause the
wire to break.
AC power cord (mains lead)
Connect the AC power cord
(mains lead) (supplied) to the
unit, then to the wall outlet.
When the AC power cord (mains
lead) is connected, the system is
performing initialization. During
system initialization, “WELCOME”
appears on the display. While
the initializing is in progress, you
cannot turn on the system.
After initialization completes,
demonstration (page 29)
starts automatically. If you press
to turn on the system, the
demonstration ends.
Deactivating the
demonstration
To deactivate the demonstration
while the system is turned off, press
DISPLAY repeatedly to select the no
display mode (Power Saving Mode)
(page 29).
Inserting batteries
Insert the two supplied R03 (size
AAA) batteries, matching the
polarities shown below.

Do not mix an old battery with a new
one or mix different types of batteries.

If you do not use the remote control
for a long period of time, remove the
batteries to avoid damage from battery
leakage and corrosion.
