Adjusting the sound
To adjust the subwoofer level
(MHC-GZX88D/GZX55D only)

Hold down SHIFT, then press
OPTIONS.

Press / repeatedly to select
“SUBWOOFER”, then press .

Press / repeatedly to select the
subwoofer level, then press .
To exit the OPTIONS menu, hold
down SHIFT, then press OPTIONS.
Creating your own
sound effect
You can raise or lower the levels of
specific frequency bands and then store
the setting in the memory as “USER EQ”.

Hold down SHIFT, then press
OPTIONS.

Press / repeatedly to select
“EQ EDIT”, then press .

Press / repeatedly to adjust
the equalizer level, then press
.

Repeat step 3 to adjust the level
of other frequency bands and
surround effect.
The user equalizer setting is stored
when “USER EQ” appears in the
display panel.
To bring up the user equalizer
setting
Hold down SHIFT, then press MUSIC
repeatedly to select “USER EQ”.

Reinforce the
bass and create

Select a preset
sound effect Hold down SHIFT, then
press MUSIC, MOVIE/
GAME, or FOOTBALL.
To cancel preset sound
effect, hold down SHIFT,
