You can reinforce the bass and create a more
powerful sound.
The GROOVE setting is ideal for music sources,
and the V-GROOVE setting is ideal for video
sources (movie, etc.).
Press GROOVE on the unit.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:

* The volume switches to power mode, the equalizer
curve changes, and the “GROOVE” or
“V-GROOVE” lights up.
Press PRESET EQ on the unit repeatedly to
select the preset you want.
The preset name appears in the display.
To cancel the sound effect
Press PRESET EQ on the unit repeatedly until
“FLAT” appears in the display.

• A.F.D. AUTO: Auto Format Direct Auto
• HP VIRTUAL: This mode outputs the sound
as surround from headphone L/R.
This mode is effective only when a multi
channel source is played.
• HP 2CH: This mode outputs the sound from
headphone L/R. Standard 2 channel (stereo)
sources completely bypass the sound field
processing. Multi channel surround formats
are downmixed to two channels.
• LINK: The front speaker channels are output
at both the front and surround speaker.
