Features
• Crisp sound reproduction faithful to the original sound is realized
through large 16 mm dynamic-type driver units engineered
exclusively by Sony to include high sensitivity and deliver a wide
frequency range and broad dynamic range.
• High-resolution sound is achieved through Sony’s unique Multiple
Layer diaphragm which prevents unnecessary resonances.
• 7 sizes of silicone earbuds are included to ensure ideal seal within
the ear for highest quality sound and also to provide wearing
comfort during extended listening.
• Thin, closed-body type vertical in-ear headphones, using
lightweight, high-strength magnesium for headphone housings.
• Supplied with genuine leather carrying case.
Wearing the headphones

Determine the right and left headphones and hold them as
in the illustration.

Insert the left headphone as in the illustration. Be sure to
wear it completely inside the ear canal.

Adjust the earbud to fit snugly in your ear. Follow the same
procedure for the right side.

Tip
If you want wear the headphones more snugly, try inserting
them upside down. In this case, run the cords through behind the
ears, as in the illustration (see fig.
A
–
2
).
How to install the earbuds correctly
If the earbuds do not fit your ears correctly, low-bass sound may
not be heard. To enjoy better sound quality, change the earbuds
to another size, or adjust the earbuds position to sit on your ears
comfortably and fit your ears snugly.
If the earbuds do not fit your ears, try another size. Confirm the
size of the earbuds by checking colour inside (see fig.
B
–
1
).
When you change the earbuds, install them firmly on the
headphones to prevent the earbud from detaching and remaining
in your ear.

While holding the headphone, twist and pull the earbud off.

Push the parts inside of the earbud into the headphone until the
projecting part of the headphone is fully covered.
Cleaning the earbuds
Remove the earbuds from the headphones, and wash them with
a mild detergent solution.

How to carry the headphones (see fig.

Open the carrying case as in the illustration, and place the
earpieces in the pits of the case.

Wind the cord around the bobbin and place the plug in the
pit at the left underside of the case.

Close the carrying case.
Notes
• The carrying case can open up to 180 degrees by rotating it. Do not
rotate it more forcibly, otherwise the case may break.
• Do not close the case forcibly without winding up the cord.
Otherwise, the cord may break.

Precautions
• Listening with headphones at high volume may affect your
hearing. For traffic safety, do not use while driving or cycling.
• The earbuds may deteriorate due to long-term storage or use.
• Install the earbuds firmly onto the headphones. If an earbud
accidentally detaches and is left in your ear, it may cause injury.
