Installing IP Setup 
Program

IP Setup Program is used to assign an IP address to the 
camera when you connect the camera to LAN. It is not 
necessary when you connect the camera to an exclusive 
network.
Install the IP Setup Program from the supplied CD-
ROM to your computer.

Insert the supplied CD-ROM disc into your CD-
ROM drive.
The contents of the CD-ROM are displayed.

Open the 

IP_Setup

 folder.

Start 

SETUP.EXE

Install 

IP Setup Program

 to your computer 

following the displayed wizard.
If the Software License Agreement is displayed, 
read it carefully and accept it to continue the 
installation.

Connecting the Camera 
to Network

Assign the IP address to the camera to connect it to an 
exclusive network or LAN.

Connecting the Camera to an 
Exclusive Network

When a network is configured with one XIS-10DC 
camera and one computer only, you can easily assign the 
IP address to the camera using the “Easy setting” 
feature. 
One XIS-10DC is composed of two camera models: 
XIS-NT10 (later called Panorama Camera) and SNC-
RZ30N/P (later called Zoom Camera).  The “Easy 
setting” feature automatically assigns IP addresses to the 
two camera models that are consecutive to the one 
previously assigned to the computer. (For example, if the 
IP address of the computer is 192.168.10.1, 
192.168.10.2 is assigned to the XIS-NT10, and 
192.168.10.3 to the SNC-RZ30N/P.)

To begin with

• Connect the camera to the exclusive network and turn 

on the power.

• Disable the firewall feature of the computer.

For the setting, see “Disabling the firewall of 
Windows XP” on page 14.
