This chapter describes precautions for when the HD RECORDING SERVER
is connected to the HD VISUAL COMMUNICATION SERVER.
Access Privileges
Operations for meetings on the HD VISUAL COMMUNICATION SERVER
require access privileges.
A terminal must be registered to the HD VISUAL COMMUNICATION
SERVER, and the access privileges must be granted to the terminal within its
user registration settings.
The HD RECORDING SERVER is considered a terminal. To specify a
meeting on the HD VISUAL COMMUNICATION SERVER for recording
from the HD RECORDING SERVER, the HD RECORDING SERVER must
be registered as a user with meeting access privileges.
User Registration
The HD RECORDING SERVER holds up to 5 recording sessions (when 5
licenses are acquired). Each session is differentiated from each other by
assigning pairs of H.323 aliases and E.164 numbers to them.
Register each session separately when registering the HD RECORDING
SERVER to the HD VISUAL COMMUNICATION SERVER as a user.

Under the HD RECORDING SERVER’s default settings, recording1,
recording2, recording3, recording4, and recording5 are configured for the
