Deleting Recording Files via RSOnline / Copying Recording Files
Deleting Recording Files via RSOnline
You can select files to delete in the video archive page. You can delete multiple
recording files at one time.
Administrator privileges are required to delete recording files in RSOnline. If
a user with only general privileges performs the following procedure, the
recording files will disappear from the list screen of the video archive.

Access the HD RECORDING SERVER, and select the [Video Archive]
menu.

Check that the recording file appears in the [Video Archive] screen, and
select the checkbox of the recording file you want to delete.
You can select multiple recording files at one time.

Click the [Delete] button.
The recording files are deleted from the recording file storage directory on
the HD RECORDING SERVER, and information associated with the
recording files is deleted from the database.
Copying Recording Files
You can have a copy of a recording file created in a specified directory when
a recording finishes.
This copy operation is separate from the save operation of the recording file.
You can create copies on other servers from the HD RECORDING SERVER
by mounting other servers.
This function can be useful when the storage of all recording files is required,
as the recording file copies cannot be deleted via RSOnline.
Administrator privileges are required to make copies of recording files.
Copies will not be created when recordings finish if this setting is not
configured.
Recording file copies cannot be deleted via RSOnline operations.
