Image stabilization is not working.
• Set [STEADYSHOT] to [ACTIVE] or [STANDARD].
• SteadyShot image stabilization may not be able to correct the image if the shaking is too
large, even if [STEADYSHOT] is set to [ACTIVE] or [STANDARD].
Image cannot be recorded or played back properly.
• If you continue recording and deleting images on recording media for a long period of time,
the files on that media may become fragmented. As a result, you may not be able to record
and save images properly.
Back up the image data, then format the media using [MEDIA FORMAT].
Menu items are grayed out or do not work.
• You cannot select grayed out display items in the current recording/playback situation.
• There are some functions you cannot activate simultaneously. The following list shows
examples of unworkable combinations of functions and menu items.
The settings of menu items change.
• When the FULL AUTO button is set to AUTO, settings related to picture quality
automatically change.
Iris, gain, shutter speed, or white balance cannot be adjusted manually.
• Press the FULL AUTO button to set auto mode off.
Tiny spots in white, red, blue, or green appear on the LCD screen.
• This phenomenon appears when using a slow shutter speed (p. 39). This is not a malfunction.
