[Recording Mode]

Select the recording mode in the setting screen that
appears, and press the ENTER button.
The default setting is [HD/SD Record].

[HD Record]

Upconvert SD signals and record in HD mode.

[HD/SD Record]

Record in HD or SD mode based on the input
resolution.

[SD Record]

Downconvert HD signals and record in SD mode.

The relationship between the input resolution and
recording mode is as follows.

• If the input is interlaced, the data will be recorded in

interlaced format regardless of whether the
recording mode is set to HD progressive.

• When the HVO-3000MT is set to 3D mode, the

recording mode will be fixed at [HD Record].

• When the HVO-3000MT is set to 3D mode, the

supported input resolutions are 1920 × 1080, 1280 ×
1024, and 1024 × 768.

[HD Recording Format]

Select the HD format to use during recording in the
setting screen that appears, and press the ENTER
button.
The default setting is [1080i].

Only the HVO-3000MT supports 1080p.

The relationship between the input resolution and HD
format during recording is as follows.

[Audio]

Select whether to record audio in the setting screen
that appears, and press the ENTER button.
The default setting is [Record].

To configure settings in other tabs, use the

and

buttons to select a tab.

If you are finished configuring [Function Settings],
use the

buttons to select [Apply], and

press the ENTER button to save the configurations.
