Using a USB Drive
You can connect a USB drive to the USB connector to save
and load the settings data file.
The following Sony USB drives are recommended.

• USB drives other than those recommended may not be
recognized when connected to the USB connector.
• USB drives must be formatted with the FAT16 or FAT32 file
system. Recommended Sony USB drives are preformatted,
and can be used without any prior setup.

NO USB FLASH DRIVE
A USB drive operation was attempted
with no USB drive connected.

ERROR
An error occurred during access to a
USB drive.
FORMAT ERROR!
A USB drive operation was attempted
with an unformatted USB drive.
WRITE PROTECTED
File writing was attempted with a write-
protected USB drive.
FILE ERROR
An error occurred while reading a file
from a USB drive.
OTHER MODEL’S FILE
You attempted to read a file of other
models having no compatibility.
FILE NOT FOUND
The file you attempted to read does
not exist in the USB drive.
