• Adjust the flange back of inner focus lens.

Preparation
Attach the FB adjustment chart to the infinity jig (1000 mm), and
set the jig as shown in the following figure.

Note 1:
The Brightness at the center of FB adjustment chart should be
200 to 400 lux or 35 to 65 cd/m
2
.
Please make the FB adjustment chart so that there is no un-
evenness of light source.
Adjusting Method
1. Click the [FB ADJ] button in the Adjustment and Inspection.
2. The START screen is displayed, and after the preparation of
adjustment is completed, press the ENTER key.
3. “Select the AF.” is displayed, set the focus-mode switch to the
AF.

4. “PLEASE CHANGE TO - WIDE” is displayed, set the zooming
ring to the WIDE end (focal length: 200 mm).

5. When the ENTER key is pressed, automatic adjustment of WIDE
end is started.
Note 2:
When the error occurs in the fl ange back adjustment,
the ErrorCodeDisplay screen is appeared.
Please check the contents displayed on the “Possible
defect/point to check” and readjust.

6. After the automatic adjustment of WIDE end is completed, mes-
sage screen is displayed in the following. Set the zooming ring
to the TELE end (focal length: 600 mm).

7. When the ENTER key is pressed, automatic adjustment of TELE
end is started.
