4-5-3. Projective Resolving Power (Partial Blur) Adjustment
• Turn the 1st lens assy to adjust the partial blur.
Note:
Fit the boss of the 1st Lens Assy into one of the five positioning holes of the 1st Moving Frame to attach the 1st Lens Assy.
If partial blur is still not improved after the 1st lens assy is turned, replace the 1 group block assy.

2. Perform the check and adjustment repeatedly until the partial blur is resolved.
NOTE:
If the partial blur cannot be resolved even after replacing the 1 group block assy, replace the Service Exclusive Optics Block.
4-6. FLANGE BACK CHECK
Equipments and Tools
• Flange back adjustment jig (J-6082-563-A)
• Siemens star chart (J-6080-875-A)
• Camera (NEX-5)
• 40 inch LCD monitor (Full HD)
4-6-1. Preparations
1. Set the siemens star chart on the flange back adjustment jig.
NOTE:
Set the siemens star chart with the center to be 200 to 400 lux or 35 to 65 cd/m
2
.
For the siemens chart, use a light source free from flickering.
2. On TELE end, set the distance from the lens of flange back adjustment jig to the checking lens to be within 10 mm.
3. Manually focus to make the center of the siemens star chart match with the center of the LCD.
4. Set the camera on the following mode.
Movie: AVCHD
5. Reset the checking lens. (Set the focus to be

)
* Do not touch the focus ring.

1. Take a movie by operating the zoom as shown below.

1. Play back the movie taken in section 4-6-2 on a LCD monitor.
* Check that there is no notable image blur, center shifting, image shaking or image jumping.
