Before playing a DVD, Video CD or JPEG, turn
on your TV and select the video input.
Depending on the DVD or Video CD, some
operations may be different or restricted. Refer
to the operating instructions supplied with the
disc.
Example: When a DVD disc is loaded

Press FU/– repeatedly until
“DVD” appears.

Press PLAY MODE in stop mode
repeatedly until the mode you want
appears in the display.
*You cannot use Shuffle Play and Program Play
when playing DVDs or JPEG image files.

Press nN (or DVD/ NX on the unit).
Notes
• You cannot change the play mode during playback.
• “ALBM” or “ALBM SHUF” appears even if you
have selected a non-MP3/JPEG disc or MP3/JPEG
disc with no albums. In this case, Album Play or
Album Shuffle Play performs the same operation as
1DISC play or 1DISC SHUF Play, respectively.

(Normal Play) The tracks on the disc you
have selected in original
order.
ALBM
(Normal Play) All MP3 audio tracks or
JPEG image files in the
album on the disc you have
selected in original order.
When playing a non-MP3/
JPEG disc, Album Play
becomes 1 DISC Play.
ALL DISCS
SHUF
(Shuffle Play)* The tracks on all discs in
random order.
1 DISC SHUF
(Shuffle Play)* The tracks on the disc you
have selected in random
order.
ALBM SHUF
(Shuffle Play)* The MP3 audio tracks in the
album on the disc you have
selected in random order.
When playing a non-MP3
disc, Album Shuffle Play
becomes 1 DISC SHUF
Play.
PGM
(Program Play)* The tracks on all discs in the
order you want them to be
played (see “Creating your
own program” on page 17).
