This component comes as part of the outer base cover. Therefore to replace this component, you
must replace the phone’s outer base cover. Refer to the “Outer Base Cover” section of this
document for instructions on replacing the outer base cover.

Antenna Assembly
4.6.1
Antenna Assembly Removal
•
Perform sections 2.1.1 - 2.1.4 of the Base Disassembly Procedure
Tools Needed:
•
Style 2A ESD tweezers (Blunt tip)
Step-by-Step Instructions
1.
Lift the rear speaker module from the inside surface
of the outer base cover and set it aside.
2.
Locate the flex film portion of the antenna assembly
that is adhered to the outer base cover.
3.
Using style 2A tweezers, peel loose the part of the
antenna assembly that is adhered to the outer base
cover.
4.
Lift the antenna assembly out of the outer base
cover.
