Display Cover Installation

If this part is being replaced, a new part should be used in the place of the old part when
performing the following procedure. Note that the two gaming keys must be transferred from the
old display cover to the new one.

Tools needed:

•

Torque screwdriver

•

Torx Plus size 5 bit

* Style 2A ESD tweezers (Blunt tip)

•

Lint free wipes

Step-by-Step Instructions

1.

Obtain the display cover being installed and place a
protective film over the outer surface of the display
cover’s display window if one is not already present.

2.

Orient the display cover so that the inner surface of
the cover is pointing upward.

3.

Insert the navigation keypad into its openings in the
display cover.

4.

Verify that the two gaming keys are in their correct
positions within the display cover.

NOTE! If a new display cover is being installed, the

two gaming keys must be transferred from
the old cover to the new one before
proceeding. Make sure to press the keys
down around their placement pegs.
