6.3.14 Flow Invert
FLOW INVERT
Similar to the Video Invert function in the M mode which inverts the grayscale
display, the Flow Invert in CDI mode inverts the color display in relation to the
direction of flow. The Spectral Wedge also inverts around the baseline.
The Flow Invert setting is adjustable in the real time mode as well as the freeze
mode.
• go to the context menu, highlight
FLOW INVERT
.
• use the LEFT/RIGHT keys to turn On/Off the Flow Invert.
when Off: RED for flow to the transducer; BLUE for flow away from the
transducer.
when On: BLUE for flow to the transducer; RED for flow away from the
transducer.
Remark:
For models with the
Finv
key, you can also press this key to activate or deactivate
the Flow Invert function.
6.3.15 Line Density
LINE DENSITY
This function determines the line density within the CDI sample box. Lower line
density makes the color pixels larger. Line density in CDI mode can be set to Low
or High.
• go to the context menu ( Figure 6.2 ), highlight
LINE DENSITY

• use the
LEFT/RIGHT
keys to the adjust line the density setting.
6.4 Cine Mode
Press the FREEZE key during the real time CDI scan to freeze the image
and start the cine mode. Recent image frames are cached and ready for
review.
The cine mode operation is independent of the display format (single, dual, quad).
