• Ex 2: To enter the word Hello, press 4-3-5-5-6.
The word displays on the screen as you type.

If the word does not display correctly, press right
navigation key to scroll through alternative word
choices. Press either the center navigation key or
0 key to accept the word.
TO INSERT A NUMBER
1.
Press the key labeled with the number you want and
use the navigation key to scroll to that number as
above.

To insert a symbol, press and hold the numeric
key 1 and use the navigation key to scroll and
select a symbol.
DIFFERENT METHODS TO ENTER TEXT
• When
English
is selected as input language:

T9ABC:
Enter the text based on the T9 dictionary.
All the letters are in upper case (capitalized).
•
T9Abc:
Enter the text based on the T9 dictionary.
Only the first letter of the sentence is in upper
case (capitalized).
•
T9abc:
Enter the text based on the T9 dictionary.
All the letters are in lower case.
• When
Espanol
is selected as input language:
•
T9ES:
Enter the text based on the T9 dictionary.
All the letters is in upper case (capitalized).
•
T9Es:
Enter the text based on the T9 dictionary.
Only the first letter of the sentence is in upper
case (capitalized).
•
T9es:
Enter the text based on the T9 dictionary.
All the letters are in lower case.
• During text entry mode, when you press/hold
number key 1
to pop-up a special character screen.
• While sending a message, press
# key
to toggle
between text entry mode from T9 to ABC.
