Onboard Serial
Port 1 / Port 2
Select a logical COM port name and matching
address for the first and second serial ports.
Select an address and corresponding interrupt
for the first and second serial ports.
Onboard Parallel Port This item allows you to determine onboard parallel
port controller I/O address setting.
The choices: 378H/IRQ7; 278H/IRQ5; 3BC/IRQ7;
Disabled.
Onboard FDD
Controller
Select Enabled if your system has a floppy drive
controller (FDC) installing in the system board and
you want to use it. If you install add-in FDC or the
system has no floppy drive, select Disabled in this
field.
The choices: Enabled; Disabled.
UART 2 Mode The second serial port on your system may offer a
variety of infrared port modes. Click here for a
description of various modes. (Click your browser’s
Back button, or your right mouse button, to return to
this page.)
IR Function Duplex Select the value required by the IR device connected
to the IR port. Full-duplex mode permits simultaneous
two-direction transmission. Half-duplex mode per-
mits transmission in one direction only at a time. If
no infrared port is present in the system, select
Disabled.
TX, RX inverting

This item allows you to enable the TX, RX inverting
which depends on different H/W requirement. This
field is not recommended to change its default
setting for avoiding any error in your system.
The choice: “No, No”, “No, Yes”(default), “Yes, No”,
“Yes, Yes”.
