Introduction
The Defender Mini All Purpose Alarm is a multi-functioning device in a miniature casing. It can be
carried in hand, attached to a bag or clipped to a belt. The alarm produces a high output siren and
has the added benefit of an independent ultra bright white LED torch.
Note:
The Defender Mini All Purpose is designed to detach itself from the key ring attachment once
activated to ensure the user does not need to leave their keys at the scene of the incident.
Operation of the alarm
Test button
Use the test button regularly to test the remaining battery strength. Do not use as an alternative in
case of emergency. If you feel unsafe in any circumstance, activate your alarm. To activate the test
function, press and hold the smallest black button located on the front of the alarm.
Battery replacement
It is recommended that the alarm is tested regularly. If the alarm sounds weak, the batteries should
be replaced. To replace the batteries, remove the two screws from the back cover and replace the
batteries noting the correct polarity. This unit operates by 3 x LR44 (or AG13).

As a Handbag Alarm
Attach the alarm to your bag using the key ring attachment so that the alarm will remain
attached to your bag after activation. The ripcord should be held in your hand or attached to
your clothing so that when your bag is pulled away from you the pin will be released, thus
activating the siren.
As a Personal Alarm
Ensure the alarm is held or attached to your clothing/bag using the belt clip. To activate the
alarm, pull the ripcord. To stop the siren, replace the rip-cord.
