Ingredients
220 g (1 cup) white sugar
250 ml (1 cup) water
•
Preparation
1. Place sugar and water into a heavy base saucepan. Cook, stirring, over a very
low heat until sugar has dissolved.
2. Bring to the boil then reduce heat and simmer mixture for 5 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Store in an airtight container
in the refrigerator.
