STARTING UP
1. Place the clean appliance on a dry, stable and heat and moisture resistant table.
2. Choose which side of the grill plate suits you best and place it on the appliance
base. Rub the grill plate with a paper towel soaked in cooking oil.
3. Plug the connection adapter of the power cord into the appliance jack and the
power plug into a suitable power outlet.
4. Set the temperature control to the maximum power and let the appliance heat
up for approx. 15 minutes. In this setting, the light surrounding lights up red.
5. In case you want less than maximum power, turn the temperature control to the
desired position.
You can now freely place your grillables on the grill plate. The grooved area is
especially suitable for meat, the smooth area is especially suitable for fish, seafood
or vegetables.
The raclette cheese can be put in the square pans and placed on the stainless steel
plating. This way, everything will be deliciously baked.
Please use the included plastic spatulas to take the foods out of the pans.
Please use a heat resistant plastic kitchen spatula to remove the grillables from the
grill plate. Never use metal kitchen tools, these might damage the non-stick coat-
ing. For the same reason, do not cut directly on the grill plate or in the pans and
never use barbecue tools. Avoid prolonged contact of the plastic tools with the hot
grill plate / the hot pans.
