5- Once you have verified the unit is receiving power, turn off power to the BIU. You can power on the

system once you have connected the BTS or other RF source as described in the next sections.

8.3.1

BIU Power Consumption

The power supply provided for the BIU has factored in the max load for the system, but for your

information, the table below shows power consumption of the BIU. Keep in mind that the BIU also

supplies power to the ODU(s). Power consumption data for the ODU(s) are provided on page 74.
