8.2.5.4.2.
Setup > STSW > Hi-level setup > STSW INTEGRATION TIME
This option controls the amount of time the Static Switch waits before transferring the load to
bypass after detecting that the Inverter output voltage is out of range. The "normal" setting is
3 ms, the "extended" setting is 20 ms.
8.2.5.4.3.
Setup > STSW > Hi-level setup > BYPASS VOLTAGE RANGE
This option relates to the Forced / Controlled Bypass option described in Section 8.2.5.4.1 above.
When "Controlled Bypass" is in effect, this option determines if the voltage range criterion used to
determine an acceptable bypass voltage is "wide" (appx. 236 ~ 318 V) or "narrow" (appx. 250 ~
305 V).
8.2.5.5.
Setup > STSW > OVERLOAD HYSTERISIS
This option sets the load level at which the load returns to the Inverter after being transferred to
bypass due to an overload. The return of the load to the Inverter is blocked until the load level
has decreased to this user-specified level.
Figure 86: Static Switch, Overload Hysteresis
This helps avoid a repeated transfer of the load back and forth between the Inverter and bypass
in a situation where the UPS is operating under near-overload conditions.
The factory default setting of 85 % is recommended for most environments.
8.2.5.6.
Setup > STSW > Enable / disable analysis event
When enabled, this function collects detailed information about the behavior of the Static Switch
and/or the inverters during a transfer of the load in one direction or the other.
