Removing the Inverter Cover

 1.  Switch the inverter ON/OFF switch to OFF. Wait 5 minutes for the capacitors to 

discharge.

 

WARNING!

If the inverter  was operating properly (power was produced by the power 

optimizers), the following message is displayed. 

D C   V O L T A G E   N O T   S A F E
D O   N O T   D I S C O N N E C T  
V D C :      7 2 . 0

This message is displayed until the DC voltage is safe (50V). Do not open the 

cover until the voltage is safe or until at least five minutes have passed. 

 2.  Turn the Connection Unit (if applicable) to OFF.

 3.  Disconnect the AC to the inverter by turning OFF the circuit breakers on the 

distribution panel. 

 4.  Open the Allen screws of the inverter cover  and carefully pull the cover horizontally 

before lowering it.

CAUTION!

When removing the inverter cover, make sure not to damage the internal 
components. SolarEdge will not be held responsible for any components 
damaged as a result of incautious cover removal.

Removing the DC Safety Unit Cover

 1.  Turn OFF the AC breaker of the distribution panel and the safety switch (if 

applicable).

 2.  Open the DC Safety Unit cover: Release the four Allen screws and remove the cover.

CAUTION!

When removing the DC Safety Unit cover, make sure not to damage the internal 
components. SolarEdge will not be held responsible for any components 
damaged as a result of incautious cover removal.

Creating an Ethernet (LAN) Connection

This communication option enables using an Ethernet connection to connect the 

inverter to the monitoring platform through a LAN.
