Reconfiguring AES Components for a 24 VDC Load
If the need were to arise, the components of the AES can be reconfigured easily to power DC-
only loads. The Power Hub 2400 is capable of receiving and integrating power from multiple,
diverse 24 VDC generation sources, charging Li Expander Paks, and powering a load. If AC power
is not needed or is unavailable, the PRO-Verter 7000 can be removed from the System. In this
configuration, all of the Li Expander Paks should be connected to the (1) METERED PORT on the
front right of the Power Hub 2400 using the Inter-Connect Y-Cable. Incoming power is used to
charge the batteries and/or power the load. Multiple Power Hubs can be stacked to accommodate
more PV arrays or other DC Generation Sources. Li Expander Paks can be added to the system to
obtain a configuration that is appropriate to meet the load requirements.
