RESERVE PARACHUTE INSTALATION

The

SOL

Harnesses

have a reserve parachute system, which makes

easy the access when throwing because it has an emergency handle
which has a shorter connection.

Attention:

•

Image 5: Pull firmly the bridles to avoid an involuntary opening, thus
preventing a dangerous friction when the reserve opens.

Some layers of Cordura

®

cover the recipient entry which is destined to

the reserve

(Figure9)

, protecting the parachute against dust and humidity.

In case the pilot lands into the water and the reserve gets wet, he/she
must remove the parachute from the Harness, dry and repack it before
put it again in the recipient.
