POSITION ADJUSTMENT
We suggest that before the first flight the pilot simulate his/her flight
position by sitting in the harness and seeking for the best position
adjustment. This simulation becomes more realistic if the back pocket is
filled with objects that the pilot usually carries during the flight.
While adjusting the back, the pilot must choose the best body inclination
but at the same time respecting a central and vertical line of the body.
We advise to avoid a major inclination because it can make difficult to
see and access the commands.
The shoulder strap is adjustable, and it varies according to the pilot
height. To more comfort the shoulder straps are able to support part of
the back weight.
The chest strap regulates the distance between both carabiners which
varies according to the harness size. The pilot will find the correct
distance of the chest strap in the Parachute Manual.
Attention:
•
The pilot must keep the chest strap distance specified in the Parachute Manual
in order to not alter the homologation characteristics.
The regulation of the leg straps allows a great tolerance and it respects
the different heights. The
SOL
Harnesses
have buckles in the legs
which together with the chest strap make the pilot’s position adjustment.
