20. OFFSET MEASUREMENT
6. Input the following items.
(1) Horizontal distance from the target point to the offset point.
(2) Direction of the offset point.
• Direction of offset point
• Press
[MEAS]
to re-observe the offset point.
7. Press
[OK]
on the screen of step 5 to calculate and display
the distance and angle of the target point.
8. Press
[YES]
to return to <Offset>.
• Press
[XYZ]
to switch the screen display from distance
values to coordinate values. Press
[HVD]
to return to
distance values.
• Press
[NO]
to return to the previous distance and angle.
• To record the calculation result, press
[REC]
.

Sighting the direction of the target point to find it from the included angle.
Install offset points for the target point on the right and left sides of and as close as possible to the target point
and measure the distance to the offset points and the horizontal angle of the target point.
• During collimation of the measured point A0, the vertical angle can be fixed at the prism position or set to be
moved according to the upward/downward movement of the telescope.
• If the vertical angle is set to be moved according to the movement of the telescope, slope distance (SD),
vertical direction (VD), Z coordinate (Z) vary depending on the collimation height.
