Figure 10: Slant height method
To measure the slant height, complete these steps:
1. Mount the measuring bar under the receiver (see
Section 4.3.1,
Typical static or stop-and-go/kinematic base setup ,
page 36).
2. Use a tape measure to measure the distance from the
measuring bar to the survey mark on the ground.
3. Record the slant height (SH) in your field book (see
Section 4.4.1.1,
Record height in field book , page 42) or in the
Spectrum Survey or SDR+ software (see Section 4.4.1.2,
Record height in software , page 42).
