If you select Show My ID , your phone number is always displayed on
a phone of the other party regardless of whether you subscribe to Caller
ID service or not. If you select
Hide My ID , your phone number is not
displayed on the phone of the other party regardless of whether you
subscribe to the service or not. If you select
OFF , the settings you
chose when you subscribed to the service apply.

For Circle Talk calls, the other party will know your phone number
regardless of the settings.

Instead of the automatic setting, press k K (Menu) and select Hide My
ID or Show My ID while a phone number is displayed before making
a call.
