OPTIONAL: Configure Prefix/Suffixes

The SocketScan applet lets you specify prefix and suffix characters or
functions to be added automatically to the data that you scan. This makes it
easy to use the 2DSC with existing Windows applications.

1.

Right-click on the SocketScan icon at the bottom of your screen.

In the pop-up menu, select

Settings…

3.

Click on the

Prefix/Suffix

tab

.

In the

Prefix

and

Suffix

fields, enter the

characters you want to be appended to each scan (128 character
maximum). Click

OK

.

Note: Only printable
ASCII characters can
be used as prefixes or
suffixes.
