ANTI-TILT SYSTEM
The anti-tipping system installed standard on the machine allows the operator to work in absolute safety.
The system continuously checks the weight of the lifted load and/or movement based on the length and
inclination of the boom; if this value exceeds a certain limit, the system immediately blocks the aggravating
boom movements. The check is made through a strain gauge cell, which measures the load on the rear
axle.
The display of the anti-roll system is found in the cab on the
front part of the driver’s seat.
When the machine is turned on, with the boom in rest mode
(boom not extracted and fully lowered), the operation of the
device is indicated by the lighting up of the “Power” light. The
graphic weight control display is made up of a series of LEDs
arranged on a different coloured curved line.
The LEDs light up in sequence as the operational limits are
reached (0% - 100%).
Significance of the LED colours:
o
Green = regular load (2 LEDs)
o
Yellow = pre-alarm (2 LEDs)
o
Red = alarm (2 LEDs)
When the yellow LEDs light up, an intermittent acoustic signal is emitted.
When the red LEDs light up, all boom movements are blocked and the acoustic signal becomes continuous.
Boom movements that have been inhibited by the anti-roll system during an alarm may have to be
temporarily reactivated in order to restore a hazardous situation.
In this case, it is necessary to press the red button on the front right dashboard; this
deactivates the anti-tipping system and makes it possible to carry out movements
that may increase the risk. For this reason, the maneuver is activated by an
intentional hold-to-run control (the operator needs to be aware of what they're
doing and the control cannot be accidentally activated). Then, when released, the
button returns to zero and deactivates the controlled function.
The machine’s load diagram is always affixed inside the cab, together with that of the fork accessory. All
other load diagrams of compatible accessories (authorised and/or supplied exclusively by the
Manufacturer) can be found in the “Accessories” appendix. If the accessories are purchased at a later stage
(from the dealer or directly from the manufacturer), the user or client must make sure they are in
possession of the relative diagram for that accessory, and if not, it must be requested from the dealer or
directly from the Manufacturer.
The system can be disabled using the “LMC Switch Off” function described in section 3.2.1.4
