For each weight category identified, the height and the angle to which it can be lifted can be identified in
the diagram or conversely, given a height and an angle, the maximum weight that can be handled can be
determined.
Each machine has the specific load diagram either on the window to the right of the driver's seat or in the
Quick Guide.

STABILITY CONDITIONS
Standard EN 1459 / ISO 22915 specifies the rules for the basic tests used to verify the stability of industrial
telescopic boom trucks. It applies to trucks fitted with fork arms and/or accessories. The stability tests
reported in the standard ensure that the specified truck type has satisfactory stability if used appropriately
and reasonably in typical conditions of use. Below is an extract from the standard.
ISO 22915 - 11 - INDUSTRIAL TELESCOPIC BOOM TRUCKS
This appendix specifies the basic tests used to verify the stability of industrial telescopic boom trucks. It
applies to trucks fitted with fork arms and/or accessories.
Validity conditions:
The stability tests reported in this appendix ensure that the type of truck specified has satisfactory stability
if used appropriately and in the reasonable operating conditions mentioned below:
a)
Operation (travel and stacking) on substantially smooth, flat and prepared surfaces;
b)
Travel with the forks tilted backwards and the load in the (travel) position retracted lowered, also
uphill and downhill on modest slopes;
c)
Stacking with substantially horizontal fork arms;
d)
Operation with the centre of gravity of the load approximately on the central longitudinal plane of the
truck.
ISO 22915- 14 - OFF-ROAD TELESCOPIC BOOM TRUCKS
This appendix specifies the basic tests used to verify the stability of off-road telescopic boom trucks. It
applies to trucks fitted with fork arms and/or accessories.
Validity conditions
The stability tests reported in this appendix ensure that the type of truck specified has satisfactory stability
if used appropriately and in the reasonable operating conditions mentioned below:
a)
Operation (travel and stacking) on non-prepared ground;
b)
Travel with the forks tilted backwards and the load in the (travel) position retracted lowered, also
uphill and downhill on modest slopes;
c)
Stacking with substantially horizontal fork arms;
d)
Operation with the centre of gravity of the load approximately on the central longitudinal plane of the
truck.
