7.0 SETTING UP AND ADJUSTING YOUR WENTWORTH STANDER
STOP!
If in any doubt, ALWAYS seek ADVICE
Always turn handwheels, levers and screws clockwise to tighten or
anti-clockwise to loosen. The stander must be fully adjusted by a
therapist or trained representative before use.
5.1 OVERALL HEIGHT
The overall height of the stander can
be adjusted to set the tray height.
•
Loosen the lever locks (2 off) on
the angled support legs (A)
•
Loosen the lever locks (2 off) on
the main support legs (B)
•
Lift the main support legs to the
desired height and then tighten
(B)
•
Set the tray level by lifting the
angled support legs, and tighten
(A)
5.2 KNEE BLOCK
The knee blocks can be adjusted for
height, depth, width and angle.
5.2.1 HEIGHT
•
Loosen the lever lock (C) on each
main support leg.
•
Slide the knee block assembly to
the desired height
•
Re-tighten the lever locks (C)
5.2.2 DEPTH AND ANGLE
•
Loosen the handwheels (D) on each side of the knee block assembly.
•
The assembly depth can now be adjusted backward or forward
•
By twisting the assembly, the angle can be adjusted.
•
When the desired depth/angle has been set, re-tighten the handwheels (D)
