automatic mode. 8 values can be selected. The 
following table shows a summary of the possible 

settings:

suitable value according to the power limitation 
of the appliance:

Exiting the user menu

There are two ways to exit from the user menu:

1  Press the 

 and 

 buttons at the same 

time for at least two seconds. All 
modifications will be saved and the hob will 
be switched off. It will then have to be turned 
back on.

Or

2  Press the 

 button for at least two 

seconds. Changes will not be saved and the 
hob will restart, but it will still be powered.

Safety features

Limiting the cooking duration

The appliance has an automatic device that 
limits the duration of use.
If the cooking settings for a pan are not 
changed, the maximum operation time for each 

zone depends on the power level selected.
Heating is switched off when the device for 
limiting the duration of use is activated.

Residual heat indicators

After the cooking zone has been switched off, a 
symbol appears on each display to indicate 
whether the zone is still hot and indicates the 
approximate temperature:

Protection from overheating

If the hob is used on full power for a long 
period, the electronics will have trouble cooling 
down if the room temperature is high.
When certain safety thresholds are reached, on 
or more cooking zones are deactivated. At the

If the appliance is set to a lower power 
level lower than the one indicated in the 
table above, it may not be possible to 
select some of the fan speeds.

For models that are not provided with a 
wireless connection, options U1 and 
U2 in the user menu will be visible, but 
not accessible.
