4.1.3 Keeping Maintenance Records
It is recommended that maintenance operations performed on a detector are recorded in a Log-book. The
record should include the following:
Installation date, and contractor
Serial and tag no
Entries for every maintenance operation performed, including the description of the operation,
date and personnel ID
If a unit is sent to Sierra Monitor or a distributor for service, a copy of the maintenance records should
accompany it.
