SMC´s EZ Connect Wireless-Ready Print Servers offer a versatile way to
connect to your printer. Two models are available to make network
printing easy and convenient. The SMC2622W-U connects directly to your
printer via USB port while the SMC2622W-P connects via its Parallel port.
With a built-in Ethernet port and an available slot for an 802.11b Wireless
PCMCIA card (wireless PCMCIA card sold separately), SMC´s Wireless-
Ready Print Servers allow users access to a printer through a regular
wired Ethernet LAN connection or by 802.11b Wireless LAN connection.
As a wireless enabled print server, each model supports both "Ad-Hoc
mode" (point-to-point wireless networks) and "Infrastructure mode"
(using your existing Wireless access point). In "Infrastructure mode", both
Wired LAN and Wireless LAN users can share the printer connected to
the wireless-ready print server. In "Ad-Hoc mode", users may connect to
the printer via wireless connection to print quickly and efficiently for
home and small office use. SMC´s Wireless-Ready Print Servers provide
versatile OS support, including Windows 98/Me, Windows NT/2000,
Macintosh, Linux.

configuration, a number of utility programs are supplied to simplify setup. For Windows
95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP users, the supplied Wizard allows quick and easy setup.

in TCP/IP networks.

environments, both the Print Server and attached bi-directional printers can be
configured remotely, from any station on your LAN. For Windows users, the supplied
BiAdmin program makes it easy to configure the Print Server for a variety of network
and server configurations

monitor, configure and troubleshoot the Print Server using their existing SNMP
management tools.
