cable management. Using the new SMC2209USB/ETH Compact
USB 2.0 to 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Adapter, you can simplify PC
connections in the home, office or on the road.
SMC2209USB/ETH is a high speed USB Ethernet Adapter. It
complies with USB 2.0 and is backward compatible with USB 1.1.
With a USB performance of 480 Mbps (40 times the speed of
USB 1.1), this new product can take full advantage of 10/100
Ethernet’s full duplex bandwidth (up to 200 Mbps). Its compact,
sleek design makes it convenient and easy to carry.
The new compact USB 2.0 to 10/100 Mbps Ethernet product supports
Plug-and-Play and is easy to install. The included EZ Installation
Wizard makes driver/utility installation a breeze. The Compact
USB 2.0 to 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Adapter is bus-powered,
hence, it draws power from the USB port of the host PC and
requires no external power supply. Simply plug in this new
SMC2209USB/ETH, which uses Type A USB port, to your
Laptop/Desktop’s USB port and connect a Category 5 cable to
the RJ-45 connector. You are now ready to connect and access
network resources.
