Connecting the Console to the X-Port 30 Unit
To operate, the console must have a video and serial connection to the X-Port 30 unit and a
connection to a power outlet. The necessary cables come with the console mounting accessories.
To connect the console to the X-Port 30 unit
1 Connect the male end of the RS-232 serial cable (C06) to the serial port (female) on the
underside of the console (see the illustration below).
2 Connect the DVI-I connector on the RGB cable (V04) to the RGB video port on the
underside of the console (see the illustration below).
3 Connect the cable from the console’s power supply to the power port.

4 Set the Analog (VGA)/Digital (DVI) switch beside the console connector to Analog.

5 Connect the female end of the RS-232 serial cable (C06) to the male RS-232 serial port
on the X-Port 30 unit connection panel.
6 Connect the male HD DB15 end of the RGB cable (V04) to the female RGB video output
port on the X-Port 30 unit connection panel.

7 Connect the power cable to the power supply and a wall outlet.
