Installing the X-Port 30 Unit
You have four installation options for the X-Port 30 unit:
•
place it on a flat surface
•
attach it to a flat surface
•
attach it under a flat surface
•
rack-mount it
NOTE: Your Sympodium IM-150 module doesn’t come with the fasteners to attach the
mounting brackets to a surface (or a rack-mount cabinet); you’ll have to supply the appropriate
ones. However, the IM-150 does come with four No. 8-32 x 1/4" screws for attaching the
mounting brackets to the X-Port 30 unit.
To place the X-Port 30 unit on a flat surface
1 Locate the four rubber feet in the accessory kit.
2 Screw each rubber foot into the hole at each corner of the X-Port 30 unit.

3 When the feet are flush, you can set the X-Port 30 unit in position on the flat surface.
