Troubleshooting Your 600i2 Interactive Whiteboard System

This chapter deals with basic troubleshooting issues for your SMART Board 600i2 interactive whiteboard system
that you can easily solve. For more complex issues or issues not mentioned in this section, please contact your
authorized SMART reseller and consult the SMART technical support website .
• System Warning Lights
– Extended Control Panel (ECP) Ready Light and System Status
– Projector Ready Lights and Projector Status
– Interactive Whiteboard Ready Light
System Warning Lights
Extended Control Panel (ECP) Ready Light and System Status
The ECP ready light is located on the ECP’s main power button. This button also functions as your status
warning light.
Ready light Status
off The projector system is not receiving power. Check your power cord and
power supply. If nothing changes after checking your power cord and power
supply, call your
authorized SMART reseller to solve the problem.
solid amber The projector is receiving power, but it is turned off.
flashing green The projector is receiving power and is starting up.
solid green The interactive whiteboard system is on.
flashing amber The interactive whiteboard system is about to enter Standby mode.
Projector Ready Lights and Projector Status
The three projector ready lights are located on the underside of the projector. They are marked Lamp,
On/Standby and Temp (for temperature).

off off off The projector isn’t receiving power. Check the
connection and the power supply.
off solid green off The projector is operating normally.
off solid red flashing red The projector is overheating. Make sure nothing is
blocking the airflow into or away from the internal
fans. Turn off, unplug and reconnect the power cord,
wait a few minutes and then turn on the system.
