at 20,000 miles or 2 years; then every 20,000 miles or 2 years
Vehicle interior
Check parking brake
Check headlamp flashers, flashers, turn signal lamps and headlamp range adjustment for
proper operation
Check electrical consumers for proper operation depending on the vehicle equipment:
Power windows, interior illumination, horn, rear window heater, seat heater, illumination
of switches and display instruments, cigarette lighter and mirror adjustment
Check controls of heater and ventilation for proper operation and ease of movement
Check Soft top "open" valve for function
Check windshield washer system and front windshield wiper for proper operation and
spray pattern
Check rear window washer system and wiper for proper operation and spray pattern
Reset maintenance interval display in instrument cluster
Check seat belts and buckles for external damage and correct operation
Check TIREFIT tire repair kit (special equipment) expiration date
Check battery fluid level, correct if necessary (if applicable)
Replace battery in vehicle key
Doors, flaps and soft top
Central locking and locks: Check function. Lubricate hinges
Outside of vehicle
Check bodywork for paintwork damage
Check the front lamps, rear lamps and side marker lamps
Check front illumination:
standing light, low beam (incl. headlamp range adjustment), high beam, front fog lamp
and turn signal system (incl. side turn signal)
Rear lamps:
brake light, taillamp, backup lamp, rear fog lamp, turn signal system and license plate
illumination
Remove service flap and check fluid level of brake system
Check the fluid level in the windshield washer system
