6.6.4. Firmware upload

Note

Due to limitations in iOS, it is not possible to load firmware files

from an ipad or iphone unless 3rd party software (e.g. Dropbox) is

installed on the UI device.

This section expands to show two buttons:

• Pressing the Select PB-4 CPU Firmware File To Upload pops up a file

chooser that lets you select the file containing the new PB-4 CPU firmware

you wish to install. Select the required file and the contents will be uploaded

to the PB-4 and installed.

• Pressing the Select PB-4 Wi-FI Firmware File To Upload pops up a file

chooser that lets you select the file containing the new PB-4 Wi-Fi firmware

you wish to install. Select the required file and the contents will be uploaded

to the PB-4 and installed.

Please see the PB-4 hardware manual for more information regarding the

uploading of firmware.

6.7. Upload UI files

Note

Due to limitations in iOS, it is not possible to load user interface

The section expands to show two buttons and a checkbox:

• Pressing the Select PB-4 UI Zip File To Upload pops up a file chooser that

lets you select the zip file containing the new PB-4 UI files you wish to install.

Select the required file and the contents will be uploaded to the PB-4 and

installed.

• Pressing the Select File To Upload button pops up a file chooser that lets

you select a single file to be uploaded and stored on the PB-4 web server.

Once uploaded, the file will be accessible through your browser.
