8.6.1
Network configuration
8.6.1.1 IP address and subnet mask
If DHCP is activated in your network, the IP gateway II is automatically included into the existing network with-
out any manual configuration. IP address and subnet mask are also added automatically into the web interface
and the DHCP box is ticked.
8.6.1.2 Standard gateway
Optionally you can enter your favourite internet gateway.
8.6.1.3 DNS server
Optionally you can add both your favourite and an alternative DNS server.
8.6.2
Date/Time
By picking a time zone time and date are automatically updated. The default setting is DE–Europe/Berlin , i. e. the
time zone CET for Germany. If the box Activate NTP is ticked, the time and date of the IP gateway II keep being
synchronized and updated via the internet connection by the Network Time Protocol.
8.6.3
Security
Here you can set your personal admin password after having done the first configuration. To guarantee a max-
imum security, the password must consist of at least 8 (and up to 40) characters and must contain at least one
capital character, one lower case character, one numeric character as well as at least one special character
(@#$%^&+=). The longer the password, the more secure it is.
8.6.4
Camera
Here up to eight cameras can be activated, which are included in the door stations listed below and the data of
which is to be sent by the IP gateway to the terminal devices.
8.6.5
Door station
Here you can add up to 8 door stations, that are supposed to be controlled by the mobile terminal devices via the
IP gateway. The names can be chosen freely.
