TRANSPORTING THE SAW
1. Lower the arm as far as it will go, engage the
head-assembly lock pin, then release the
tension on arm .
2 . Push the vise clamp all the way in against the
vise stop, engage the quick-release lever,
then tighten the vise clamp .
3. Lift and carry the saw by firmly gripping the
carrying handle. Carry the saw with the
wheel side facing your body (Fig. 6).
CAUTION
Be certain that the head-
assembly lock pin is fully en-
gaged for transporting. If the abrasive cut-off
saw is carried in the open position, the depth
stop may be damaged.
WARNING
Do not attempt to modify this
tool or create accessories
not recommended for use with this tool. Any
such alteration or modification is misuse and
could result in a hazardous condition leading to
possible serious injury.

If any parts are damaged or
missing, do not operate this
product until the parts are replaced. Use of this
product with damaged or missing parts could
result in serious personal injury.

To reduce the risk of person-
al injury, always disconnect
the plug from power source before making ad-
justments.
KEEPING AREA CLEAN
Dust and chips that fall under the saw will ac-
cumulate on the floor. Make it a practice to pick
up and discard this debris when you have com-
pleted cutting.
TRIGGER SWITCH
Your tool can be turned “ON” or “OFF” by
squeezing or releasing the trigger (Fig. 7).
NOTE: Switch can accommodate a padlock
with a shank of up to 3/16" in diameter (not
provided with tool) to prevent unauthorized
use .
