INSTALLATION

On fan cooled models with oil injection pump, re-
install oil pump on rewind starter assembly.

Reinstall rewind starter assembly on engine.

Thread starter rope

no. 6

through rope guide

when applicable.

Prior to installing starter grip

no. 15

on new rope,

it is first necessary to fuse the rope end with a lit
match. pass rope through rubber buffer

no. 14

and starter grip and tie a knot in the rope end.
Fuse the knot with a lit match then insert rope end
down and pull the starter grip over the knot.
