Protection

Safety Considerations

The following are some of the PRM safety related issues that should be considered.

Table 2-1: PRM related safety considerations.

Updating CMM FW through the

Updating the CMM firmware
directly on the rack by using the

Entering Maintenance mode

Protection functionality of PRM slot is not active because PRM slot has to be
disarmed to enter the maintenance mode.
