Device Information

Description of the SW Advantage™

The SW Advantage™ is an electric bed. Its purpose is to assist the care provider by reducing the

chance or fall or serious injury of individuals who require specialized positioning for their

rehabilitation. The positioning nature of this bed also provides care providers the convenience in

attending to the patients. The frame is constructed entirely from metal and is adjustable in height

from a low position of 14" (35.5 cm) to a high position of 27" (68.5 cm). The frame is designed

to support a safe working load of up to 850 lbs. (385 kg). The bed comes standard with a

headboard and footboard, a set of 2 side rails, and a hand control. Options include IV pole

holder, 2 additional side rails, foot control, low air loss mattress or pressure redistribution foam

mattress.
